Menor de edad murió en medio de combates en La Plata
La víctima fue una niña de 4 años identificada como Harlin Salomé Usa Mosquera, quien fue alcanzada por dos balas perdidas en medio de una balacera. El hecho se registró sobre las 11:00 de la mañana de ayer, cuando las unidades militares se encontraban patrullando la zona rural de la localidad plateña con el fin de brindar protección y seguridad a los habitantes.
En la vereda el triunfo del centro poblado de San Miguel, en el municipio de La Plata, Huila, se registró un enfrentamiento armado entre tropas del Batallón de Infantería N.º 26 Cacique Pigoanza, con integrantes de la Columna Móvil ‘Dagoberto Ramos’, que dejó como saldo una menor de edad fallecida.
Las tropas fueron atacadas por sujetos señalados de integrar un grupo armado organizado residual, quienes abrieron fuego contra los militares, dejando en medio a la población civil de la vereda Villa Esperanza del centro poblado de San Miguel.
“Estamos siendo atacados con artillería ak-47, llevamos aproximadamente media hora de combate, nos están disparando con armas de alto calibre, estamos en fuego cruzado, tanto de aquí para allá, como de allá para acá”, precisó un soldado que grabó el combate.
El secretario de Gobierno del Huila, Andrés Mauricio Muñoz, confirmó que algunos habitantes del municipio de La Plata, habían enviado una carta solicitando que fueran retiradas las tropas del Ejército, por miedo a que se dieran enfrentamientos con estos grupos de las disidencias de las Farc.
Por su parte el funcionario manifestó, “la posición del Ministerio de Defensa como de nuestro Gobernador, es lo contrario, al fortalecimiento, no dejar territorios sin la presencia de la Fuerza Pública, por ello estas solicitudes no las podemos atender, al contrario las rechazamos e invitamos a los presidentes de juntas de que se sumen de este lado, la petición debe ser a que haga presencia el Ejército y la Policía, porque ese es el deber legal y constitucional y esa es la indicación del señor Gobernador desde hace muchos días, que haya mucha presencia para garantizar la seguridad del gremio transportador, de los constructores, de los cafeteros, los piscicultores y estamos pidiéndole al Ejército y a la Policía resultados”, concluyó.
Muchos de los pobladores donde ocurrió el operativo, abandonaron sus fincas para buscar protección; sin embargo, otros simplemente se refugiaron hasta que retornó la tranquilidad.
Durante la neutralización del grupo insurgente, varios helicópteros estuvieron sobrevolando las montañas para hacerle seguimiento al grupo guerrillero que tenía como pretensión generar zozobra en el centro poblado de San Miguel.
La víctima mortal que integraba una familia campesina recibió dos disparos de fusil, uno en el estómago y otro en una pierna al quedar en medio del enfrentamiento. Un enfermero de combate de la unidad militar le prestó los primeros auxilios y posteriormente fue trasladada en una ambulancia al Hospital Departamental San Antonio de Padua en el casco urbano del municipio de La Plata.
Desafortunadamente la menor llegó sin vida al centro asistencial. El reporte de la institución indicó que, Harlin Salomé ingresó al servicio de urgencias en una camilla del Cuerpo de Bomberos a eso de las 2:30 de la tarde, con palidez generalizada, sin presencia de pulso y con ausencia de reflejo corneal. Además, tenía sus pupilas dilatadas y sin respuesta a la luz”.
Los galenos le diagnosticaron un shock hipovolémico por las heridas ocasionadas con arma de fuego. Aunque la ingresaron a sala de reanimación su cuerpo no respondió.
El combate que duró aproximadamente una hora, por fortuna no dejó más personas heridas, ni fallecidas. Según la información suministrada por los miembros de la Fuerza Pública, los integrantes de esta estructura armada, estarían instrumentalizando a la población civil para que actúen en contra de las tropas, con la intención de retirarlas de esta región.

El Ejército rechazó la violación del derecho internacional humanitario por estos tipos de acciones criminales que afectan a los grupos de especial protección constitucional, como lo son los niños, niñas y adolescentes, y envía un sentido mensaje de condolencias a la familia de la menor. La denuncia está siendo instaurada por el comando ante las autoridades competentes.
Por su parte la Gobernación del Huila escribió en un comunicado, “expresamos nuestro sentido pésame a la familia afectada por esta irreparable pérdida y acompañamos en su dolor a todos los habitantes del municipio de La Plata. Asimismo, reiteramos nuestro rechazo y condenamos cualquier acto violento que afecte a la población civil y que vulnere los principios fundamentales del respeto por la vida y la integridad de las personas”.
Finalmente hicieron un llamado a las autoridades competentes, para que realicen una pronta y exhaustiva investigación que permita esclarecer los hechos y se identifique y lleve ante la justicia a los responsables de este atroz acto. Asimismo, insta a la comunidad a mantener la calma y a colaborar con la Fuerza Pública para preservar la seguridad en la región.
El crimen generó anoche en redes sociales gran indignación, el exministro de Defensa, Diego Molano, dijo: “¡Miserables disidencias de las Farc! Asesinan niños, los reclutan, no los liberan y luego, en aras de la tal Paz Total, convertirán a estos criminarles en gestores de convivencia. Y el gobierno Gustavo Petro, ni se inmuta”.
